built a system for a family member that prioritizes system stability over everything else (i would assume power limit doesn’t change stability, no form of oc for him as it’s his workstation) so these scores are with a thermalright burst assassin 120 evo + 4800mhz cl38 ddr5, stock bios and then only pl1 limit changed to 148w. thing is though, at stock the cpu did use 86w so kinda surprised it only needed another 10w to perform that much better

cpu fan was maximum 1050rpm as well, i had that cooler on my ryzen 5 7500f and it couldn’t keep it under 90c with mild pbo enabled (90w) i now use a 360 radiator but i haven’t played around with oc on it as it seems it really just isn’t as simple as a intel “locked” cpu :/

ryzen cpu has corsair ddr5 6000 cl30 and i get 13631 but once i figure out these damn bios and windows bugs on my pc (gigabyte pulled both bios versions from website that i upgraded to) i’ll play around with undervolting and boost clock increase

both intel and ryzen cpu have thermalright frames instead of the stock retention brackets
