I bought a new motherboard, but I accidentally bent some pins. I had a local electrician fix them and cleaned the area with isopropyl alcohol.
After that, the PSU kept cutting off power every time I connected the CPU 8-pin cable. I tested it repeatedly by shorting the front-panel 3-pin header — and then suddenly, boom 💥.
Could the bent pins or cleaning have caused this? The motherboard was a cheap Chinese brand called Frontech H610. (All my money’s gone 😭)
