Update: This story has been updated with additional details on the Invincible VS Closed Alpha Test.
New information regarding the upcoming 3v3 fighting game, Invincible Vs, was revealed during the recent IGN and Xbox Fall 2025 showcase. During the livestream, Robot and Monster Girl were revealed as new playable characters.
As one might’ve expected, Monster Girl is a big-bodied brawler type character. The trailer demonstrates how it will be difficult to contest Monster Girl’s attacks since she’s shown to have plenty of attacks that carry super armor frames.
In some ways, Robot appears to have some similarities to Mortal Kombat’s Sektor. One of his special moves has him launching missiles that will eventually lock the opponent in place as they rain from above.
Surprisingly, it doesn’t seem like Robot has any traditional projectiles that simply travel horizontally. However, he’s able to take up screen space with one of his supers that has him utilizing a beam projectile.
Both Monster Girl and Robot appear to have dive kicks that are great ways for the two characters to transition from an aerial state to a grounded one. Additionally, both dive kicks will be useful for continuing combos.
Towards the end of the trailer, it was revealed that the Invincible Vs Closed Alpha is set to begin on November 21, 2025. It will then last up through November 24, 2025.
The Closed Alpha Test is confirmed to contain 10 playable characters in total, which is everyone announced so far, between Invincible, Atom Eve, Bulletproof, Thula, Rex Splode, Battle Beast, Omni-Man, Cecil, Monster Girl and Robot.
Casual online matches, Practice mode and tutorials will be the only modes available in the alpha with four stages to pick from including Hometown Invasion, Himalayas, the Moon and Training Room.
This test will apparently only be available on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, so it seems PC owners will be sitting this fight out.
