Greetings, I have recently reinstalled Windows on my PC. Due to SSD failure.
It was initially running Windows 10. I told myself to might as well install Windows 11 as 10 was becoming out of support.
This is a fresh install, I tried to downclock the memory, roll back NVIDIA drivers. No luck. BIOS setup is currently all on defaults settings. I have went through much back and forth with Activision support and there isn't much going on there.
I reinstalled all my games. Somehow Black Ops Cold War doesn't run. I get this error crash. I tried installing the new MW2 and runs just fine.
The support team over at Activision asked me to install the game on another machine. I installed on my ThinkPad which has a Radeon 550 GPU. Game does run on that thing.
On my gaming PC, I have a 5800X3D, 32GB, 2TB and RTX 4060.
The RAM installed is new also.
