i recently optimized this pc including tightning the ram timings. i used the safe values from this tutorial. since then every ~3rd reboot/coldboot result in a memory training and sometimes it even fails to boot with the postcode EC>AB. i reverted everything to auto but the timings and the issue persisted so i thing the timings should be the issue. the pc past 40 hours vt3 and 24 hours tm5 ryzen3d. even with fclk on 2200 and extreme values of the tutorial above.
gdm on – off leads to blescreens etc
powerdown on – off leads to bluescreens etc
nitro 1-3-1, 8x, 8x – doesnt seem to be the culprit as the behavior doesnt change when i sett nitro to auto.
vsoc votlage 1.16v – doesnt seem to be the culprit as the behavior doesnt change when i raise the voltage to 1.26v
vdd 1.4 – same beahvior at 1.45v
vddio 1.35 – same behavior at higher voltage
vddq 1.35 – same behavior at higher voltage
the mainboard doesnt seem to be able to set some timings and sets them looser. this pc sit on a bench table and doesnt have any cooling. therefore i set trefi max/2. do i need to set trfc acordingly? do they have to be in a ratio?
