Prepare to have Pump Up the Jam in your head for the next two weeks: Social cozy MMO Palia has officially kicked off what it’s calling the Jam-Boree. Spoilers: It involves jam. Like, a lot of jam. And you have to make it.
“Players across Palia will work together to create a collective 25 million total Jams, Preserves, and Canned Foods before the event ends,” Singularity 6 says. “Whether you are tending crops, harvesting fresh ingredients, or running your Preserves Jar crafter at full capacity, every jar helps the community reach the goal. The Jam-boree begins at 10:00 a.m. PT on Tuesday, October 21 and ends at 10:00 a.m. PT on Tuesday, October 28.”
Players who participate in the tally can rack up collective rewards; if the community makes it to 25M, you’ll get to vote on a special jam-themed plush, too.
Protip, you can have more than one preserves machine! It’s actually my favorite way to make AFK money from the game. And you don’t need to give up your profits to participate: You can indeed sell what you make.
