Has any corporation in the Cyberpunk universe tried to create a “superhuman” using a serum instead of chrome? If not, do you think they could?

I'm not too familiar with the "deep" Cyberpunk lore when it every corporation. But considering how technology has been pushed in this universe, I'd assume futuristic chemistry would be insane too, especially when you consider what Biotechnica does to make "meat" and food (gross). It would make sense if Arasaka or Militec wanted to create a super soldier that couldn't be hacked.
