Hello everyone. So… I'm having some issues that have manifested lately regarding my setup. Ever since I bought my GPU+RAM+MB back in February, I've been running it at stock CPU + EXPO 6000CL30 seemingly fine, but more so recently things started to go south. I just bought BF6 and I've been getting weird BSODs, game crashes, etc. The game apparently unearthed some instability my system has that I was otherwise oblivious to. OK. I tested everything haphazardly when I bought it and things seemed fine, and I wasn't having issues until now. At first I attributed the crashes to the game being bad but they are too frequent but also random (sometimes 20 minutes in, sometimes 8 hours in) and my friends didn't seem to be crashing, so I went to OCCT CPU + RAM test and, for no ones surprise, it crashed. I went on and downloaded P95, TM5 and both crashed in less than 10 minutes (Large FFT and Anta777 Extreme). I went to my bios and set everything to stock (JEDEC 4800) and ran the tests again and both seemed to pass fine (5 hours P95 and 6 hours TM5). I loaded EXPO again and turned MCR and Fast Boot off, this time it took a little longer to crash, about 40 minutes in TM5. Alright, went back to BIOS and set EXPO II this time and ran the tests again overnight, P95 large FFT for 10 hours and TM5 for about 6 or 8 and both didn't crash. I thought I had figured it out, but when I went to play BF6 and, guess… BSOD, PFN_LIST_CORRUPT. I restarted my PC and immediately ran TM5 and I got like a crash within the first 20 seconds. I don't know what to do anymore.
I ran a GPU stress application together with P95 and TM5 to rule out heat related crashes, didn't seem to make a difference.
Any clues?
