Just when I think I finished my setup – I’m deciding on if I should upgrade my monitor. I did replace the chair after some heavy scrutiny from Reddit on one of my other posts hah.
Currently have a 3 year old Alienware monitor, 27”. I mainly play on my PS5 with some light gaming on my Alienware M15R3 laptop. The colors on the current monitor seem to be degrading, with one of the HDMI ports not working so needing to unplug/replug with my laptop is kind of a pain.
I’ve looked into 40”-43” TVs but the refresh rate doesn’t seem to be at the 120HZ mark until you get up to 50” which is too big for the area.
Looking at the 32” Alienware AW3225DM, which I can get for $225. I do most of my gaming from here, and yes the couch is more comfortable but with kids, it’s difficult to game on my larger TV. Is this the best option or should I go with a 40”-43” TV that may have better colors but lack the refresh rate?
