Okay so, for the past week I've been researching ddr4 and absorbing buildzoids ddr4 playlist and fine tuning my ram.
I've feel like I've gotten it as tight as I can, and I've ran 50 cycles on testmem5 with no errors so I know it's stable.
But I feel like there's a little bit more left to do, I'm just not sure what else I can adjust that will let me bring more numbers down
Specs:
Ryzen 5900xt 16 core

tRCD 22
tRP 22
tRAS 42
tRC 64
tRTP 14
tRRD_L 10
tRRD_S 4
tFAW 48
ProcODT 34.3 ohm
CR 1
GDM On
Tuned profile:

tRC 50
tRTP 10
tRRD_L 4
tRRD_S 4
tFAW 16
ProcODT 36.9 ohm
CR 1
GDM On
I couldn't go past 12 tRTP until I decided to mess with ProcODT. I bump that up to 60 then found how low I could push tRTP, 10 was that limit regardless, then I brought that all the way down to 36.9.
I feel like I was lucky to get away with pushing both tRRD down the 4
I set tFAW to 16 cuz buildzoid said so.
for some reason, I absolutely cannot push tRCD past 21, tRP past 19 and not tCL past 18.
I feel like all my 2ndary timings are real nice and tight, I just can't seem to tweak the primaries further.
I messed with up to 1.5v early on, trying to do 16 tCL, and it did hold and boot into windows, but 10 seconds into any ram test, it threw a buncha errors.
no combo of CR or GDM could do it, idk what else I can do lol
is there any more tuning left to do, or am I pretty much completed here?
thanks for your help
