What we like about this Skytch Azure gaming PC
Excellent card for 1440p and 4K
The RX 9070 XT is one of the best bang-for-your-buck graphics cards if you want something that’s very capable at both 1440p and 4K. It has 4096 cores, a hefty 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM, 256-bit bus, 1660 MHz base and 2970Mhz boost clock speed, and a 304W power draw. It used RNDA 4 architecture and supports features like FSR 4 and Direct X12. Overall, it’s a card that challenges many of the Nvidia alternatives from a pricing perspective, and even offers RTX 4080 levels of performance in some cases.
Amazing gaming processor
The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is a great choice for the RTX 5080, and we think it’s still one of the best gaming CPUs you can buy right now. It features 8 cores, 16 threads, a boost clock speed of 5GHz, and a large 96MB L3 cache. Of course, it’s the huge 3D V-Cache that’s the big selling point here. By stacking the caches, it allows for its size to be much larger than your standard Ryzen models, in turn dramatically reducing data access times and allowing much more to be stored on it instead of the RAM. What that translates to is dramatically reduced frame latency, which is great for gaming.
2TB SSD and 32GB of DDR5 RAM
This build comes with a good-sized 2TB NVMe SSD, which is going to realistically hold around 15 large AAA games, alongside the rest of your files. It also comes with 32GB of DDR5 RAM, which has 6000MHz memory speeds. That’s up there with some of the fastest you can get, and will ensure your system is running smoothly and feeling responsive, even if you have a load of windows open at once.

Stylish design
Skytech Azure gaming PCs feature two glass panels that give you a full, unobstructed view of the inner workings of its PCs, and we’re big fans of it. It’s also not too massive, opting for mid-tower ATX, which allows for it to be easily placed on your desk without taking up too much room. On top of that, you’ve got some great RGB lighting on the fans, RAM, and CPU cooler, which we think looks brilliant without being too flashy.
Who’s this deal for?
Coming in $1,859.99, this is a great PC for anyone looking for something excellent for 1440p and 4K gaming, and a good alternative to the likes of an RTX 5070 prebuilt PC, which comes in at a quite similar price, but only has 12GB of VRAM. For hybrid use, we’d say you’re better off pairing this with a processor that has a higher core and thread count, potentially something from Intel, but for gaming, this build is going to excel.
How will this PC perform?
To give you a rough idea of what to expect with this PC, we’ll use our review of an ASUS Prime RX 9070 XT OC graphics card. As mentioned, it gets around RTX 4080 levels in most cases. With Cyberpunk 2077, a particularly demanding title, especially with ray tracing, it was able to get 129fps/ 1440p, 51fps/ 1440p with ray tracing, 61fps/ 4K, and 25fp/4K with ray tracing. For a game that looks great, but is better played at higher fps, Doom Eternal, it was able to get an impressive 387fps/ 1440p, 249fps/ 1440p with ray tracing, and 228fps/4K and 154fps/4K with ray tracing. Finally, for Indiana Jones: The Great Circle, a game that is very demanding on VRAM, it was able to get174fps at 1440p and 101fps at 4K.
