My cat kept shutting down my computer by jumping on the case, right on top of the power button. I found a practical and discreet solution: a magnetic screw mat, the kind used to keep screws from getting lost when repairing electronics.
Maybe I'm just reinventing the wheel here, but I hope this can help someone else with the same "problem".
