I’m looking for some advice on finding the right desk. I currently use a chair with a footrest and really enjoy stretching my legs out while working or gaming — but it’s frustrating having my feet hit the wall when I do so. I’d also love a setup that gives me enough space to write on paper without needing to move my keyboard out of the way. For reference, I am 6ft1 and my floor to hip distance is about 40in, so i assumed a 45” depth desk would satisfy this. I just cannot seem to find one .
An L-shaped desk seems ideal,as it would give me the flexibility and space I’m after. I do have a rather large 45” monitor, but I plan to mount it on a wall arm, so that should help with space management.
I’m not opposed to building a desk myself, but I’d prefer to find something ready-made if possible. (Please excuse the mess by the way!)
