The eighth and final mission in Battlefield 6 is called Always Forward. In it, you’ll step into the combat boots of Sergeant Dylan Murphy one last time as Dagger 1-3 races to disable Pax Armata’s most terrible plot yet — launching four hypersonic missiles carrying NXC warheads. Once launched, they would decimate mainland Europe in just 30 minutes.

Get Through the Outpost
The mission kicks off in the mountains of Tajikistan with Dagger 1-3 en route to a Pax Armata outpost that you’re responsible for clearing out.
There’s no build-up to this mission. Once you hop out of the vehicle at the end of the introductory cutscene, you’re in the middle of a head-on assault.
As soon as you approach the outskirts of the outpost, a mounted machine gun will begin firing on your squad. This will be your first priority, but unlike the last mission, you aren’t equipped with a sniper rifle this time around for an easy headshot from a distance. You do have a grenade launcher, though. How close you need to get to the turret before blasting it with your launcher depends on your aim. You’ve got some cover to move closer if you need to. Take it out quick with a single shot.
The following area is home to a handful of Pax soldiers behind cover. If you hit them from the left (toward the disabled turret), you’ll have a good angle at them behind cover and should be able to eliminate them without too much hassle.
Keep proceeding forward. This is an all-out war, so expect to take fire anytime you move. Take advantage of the plentiful cover in the area. Just ahead of the fuel depot on your left, you can swap out your weapons if you’d like — we recommend grabbing the SV-98 sniper rifle so you can kick back and pick off enemies from beyond their range.
It will come in handy immediately. As your squad turns the corner, you’ll spot enemy artillery and multiple snipers on the other side of the next area. Line up your shots and drop them before they do too much damage to your team. Alternatively, you can grab an unguided rock launcher at the blocky cover forward and to your left for a more explosive solution.
As you move into the clearing, a Pax helicopter will roll in to drop off reinforcements. Use your grenade launcher or RPG to take it out before the troops are deployed.
After the helicopter is taken care of, clean up any straggling enemies in the area.

Collectible 1 – Lahsen El Idrissi
The first collectible dog tag in this mission can be found in the first PAX outpost you fight through, inside the large garage or hangar at the end of the area.
Inside the hangar with blue letters on the side, look to the right of the middle green truck — the dog tag is on the floor next to some stacked papers and a duffel bag.
