Just Flight has shared a new development update for its classic Fokker F28 Professional, confirming that the upcoming v2.2 upgrade is nearing completion. This free update will be available to all existing F28 owners across both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024, on PC and Xbox.

While the main focus of this update is ensuring full MSFS 2024 compatibility, allowing the aircraft to appear on the in-sim Marketplace for the first time, Just Flight has also taken the opportunity to refine and expand on several areas of the aircraft. One of the standout additions is the inclusion of unique cabin branding for every livery, complete with authentic period details that capture the bold design trends of the 1970s and 1980s.

Version 2.2 will also introduce preflight walkaround support within MSFS 2024, along with a new EFB tablet model featuring an optional window mount. A full changelog and release date will be shared soon, but the update promises to further enhance one of the most detailed classic jetliners available in the sim.

Elsewhere, Just Flight confirmed that both the F70/100 and 146 teams are progressing well, with major upgrades and MSFS 2024 compatibility updates also in development — more news on those is expected in the near future.
