Anyone knows how to deal with this challenge? (it’s repeated on other weapons as well and i can’t seem to progress)

It says to use any "sight" and get kills, but i've tried optics from mw2, mw3, zoomed mw3, iron sights, thermal.

Nothing seems to work.
