maybe someone here knows about this. I recently bought an i7-14700KF at a good price. In Cinebench, it quickly reaches 100 °C under full load and starts throttling. I’m already using pretty much the largest cooler that fits – a be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 5.
That’s why I wanted to try undervolting, but the setting is greyed out, as are many other CPU options. I’m using an ASUS Prime Z690-D4 motherboard with the latest version of the ASUS UEFI BIOS. With my old processor, I was able to adjust everything without any issues.
ASUS support hasn’t been helpful either, and the BIOS documentation is completely outdated and doesn’t match the current version at all. 🤷🏻♂️
