As the title says, ever since I got the GPU the voltage curve seems to not work at the speeds I've set, coming from a 3070 and 1060 before that, I did as usual, just OC the core and then lock voltages at my desired clock.
Yet for some reason on the 5060Ti it ALWAYS runs -100mhz below ANY locked voltage.
1st picture curve is 3.1ghz @ 1v, yet in use it reports 2955mhz peaks @ 970mv.
2nd picture I unlock the voltage curve, 3050mhz @ 1005mv, but it's power limited at 180w.
Again, this happens at any voltage limit I set it to i.e. 2800mhz @ 925mv will run at ~2700mhz and a lower voltage. It's definitely not thermal throttling.
My question – Is this some sort of new 5000 series mumbo jumbo or is it the MSI Ventus vBios? Or is it PCIE4 not letting the GPU be fully utilized? The latter makes less sense tho.
The reason I lock my voltage is because my OC will at random spike to 3300mhz and crash in whatever game I play, locking voltage has been the fix for now, but with the reduced clocks as a result.
On a side note, does anyone know how or where to find info about flashing the MSI Gaming vBios on the Ventus?
Any help is appreciated as this issue has been bugging me for months now, thank you!
