Significantly improved performance while running Cinebench 2024 for 5 minutes. G3 is 10 degrees cooler and XPS is around 15 degrees cooler.
I was running MX-6 for around a year and did not expect as big of an improvement as I saw. There is a small but expected difference between testing the device flat versus raising the back around 2 inches off the desk. XPS data was too spiky to visualize both the flat and raised tests, so all the XPS data shown was collected with the device flat.
I did not see published data in this format for laptops, so I chose to visualize and publish for anyone who is curious. HWInfo64 was used to collect the data and visuals were created using Excel.
