Using Cpu-z its looking like my ram is only pulling 2600. In bios I believe it shows its using 4000mhz. Im so confused at what my ram is actually pulling. Ive tried enabling xmp. The system trained the ram booted then the second i clicked to log into windows I bsod.
Tried profile 2, didnt post for over 10 minutes. So I force reset.
Said screw it I'll live with 4000mhz then cpu says 2600mhz. Seems really low for a modern machine.
My specs are I7 12700kf
Asus z790 max gaming wifi7
5090 gpu
1200w power supply can't rem exact brand.
3 separate m.2 drives
1 sata ssd
128 gb corsair ram 5200mhz. (Bought in 2 separate kits but rated the exact same. I noticed the dram manufactor for one set was samsung the other one was a different brand. 4x32gb sticks) part numbers are the same.
Im suspicious this is part of the head ache but if possible I wanna try to get it working stable without fighting a return and repurchase if possible.
