It’s taken me a while to get the courage to write this.

My brother and I grew-up gaming. However, life happened and I hadn’t played games since PS2. A few years ago my brother convinced me to buy a PS5. One of the first games I decided to play was Cyberpunk 2077 and I was completely amazed by the game’s story.

Unfortunately my brother recently took his own life. I instantly thought about our childhood and how much fun we had gaming together. I also thought about the concept of the Relic, and how it would be possible to have someone’s soul loaded into it. I know that we (currently) cannot realistically do that. So the best thing I could think of was having his ashes embedded into a tattoo in the symbol of the Relic on me. I may not be able to talk to him again but he’ll always be with me.

He never made it to the ending of the game or saw the suicide ending. But I wish he had because I remember another commenter here saying that seeing that ending made them rethink taking their own life. My brother didn’t reach out to a single person in the end. His sudden passing has completely wrecked my family (and friends) in unimaginable ways.

If you’re reading this and in a bad place, PLEASE reach out to someone (a professional is best, if not, call 988, if not, at least a friend or family member).

Miss you forever bro ❤️
