I kicked off the City of Newisle build all the way back in 2010 as a casual hobby project based on my interest in architecture and urbanism. It's my one and only world save to date and, 15 years on, I still add to it here and there whenever I get time to play, meticulously adding elements like full interiors, working rail lines and secondary towns all across the world.
Minecraft's been one of my longest-standing pastimes, with little easter eggs across this world dedicated to my favourite movies, music, games, past jobs, my move half way across the world, my pets and recently an engagement as well. Now being at an age where kids are on the horizon, maybe this game and this world will even stick around long enough for my future family to play it, too?
