Back at it again with a new Minecraft post. It's been awhile since I shared.

So, of all the cities in my world. Elowah seems to be one I haven't really talked about much yet. So I'll give out some of the history here. Also as for packs and shaders you can check my list below for what I use

Facts about my city Elowah.

1 the city was named after "Elowah Falls" one of my favorite waterfalls in the Pacific Northwest a region I was born and raised in. Elowah is also an indigenous name, and is pronounced as "Ele-oh-wuh" it is the second largest city in Jesla Country behind Harlow "the North Capital" Elowah was founded in 2023. But I had plans to start building it around late 2022.

2 the watchtower is called "Wuskah Watchtower" it's the cities most iconic landmark and it's also the most historic structure in Elowah. It was built by me and my cousin Ellie back in 2023. And during survival play. The watchtower served as a major safe house to steer away zombies away and keep an eye on players traveling on boat via the sea. The tower now symbolically contrasts medieval structure to the modernized day. And is currently an abandoned tower.

3 The "Port of Elowah" is one of the largest seaports in Jesla Country. It's also the only seaport in Jesla Country that houses a shipyard. The harbor serves as a seaport system for travel and trade amongst other regional cities such as the north capital city "Harlow" It also serves other neighboring cities like Razalia in northern Skyline Country, about 3.2K blocks southeast of Elowah. And Alouette in northwestern Jesla Country. Known for my dramatic fjord and glacier systems.

4 Elowah is the northwestern most "major" city in Sky Pixel. Serving as a gateway to the upper North Coast Mountains and facilitating products to small coastal towns/villages to the north.

5 Elowah sits at the base of the North Coast Mountains on an isthmus. Due to it's proximity to the sea and it's location in the hills nestled up by the Lower North Coast Mountains. The city recieves a monumental amount of rainfall and I have coded areas for supported MC versions to replicate that.

6 Elowah is one of the cleanest cities in Sky Pixel. And has a robust complex rail network. It also has the largest concentration of bridges than any other city in Sky Pixel with Harlow a close second due to it's hilly location.

7 The city housed my 11 year anniversary back in July which has a monument to support that in Sitkan Square. Every year I do a monument somewhere in some city of my world during an anniversary. For my eleven year anniversary. Elowah was my chosen location.

8 Elowah sits near the base of "Mount Cambrie" the tallest mountain in the Lower North Coast Mountains. I plan on making a ski resort near it sometime later this year.

9 Elowah is loosely based off of Vancouver British Columbia. Harlow is also based off this city loosely as well.

10 The city has many waterways for flood inundation. Unlike my south capital city "La Morley" which is surrounded by swamplands and is literally flooding… Elowah has waterways around the city limits acting as flood zones, that than wash out of canals the descend through mountainous valleys and rivers to the ocean.

Like all my cities. Elowah is part of my massive minecraft world Sky Pixel available for download on Planet Minecraft under the same name. A world that I have been developing from time to time over the past eleven years.

Shaders

For those interested. I use a high end PC to render my worlds using shaders like Hypixel – (Iteration 3.0) SEUS Renewed. And various others. Unfortunately playing on the world with all these packs enabled at such high render distance is just virtually unplayable at the moment given how demanding it is for even the highest ends of PC gaming to run it. – one day in the future I can only imagine.

But.

I also play with Bedrock RTX at by which I use BetterRTX paired with KellysRTX base pack and Cinematic Weathered pairing. And can get some fun cinematic playtime with that.
