i can't be the only one who thinks this. its hard to explain. but cod black ops zombies somewhat feels far removed of the typical cod experiences like its more serious take on campaign and its mp mode (despite it being far more arcade like and obviously not anything remotely close to a milsim). but then you just have zombies.

it's looks and feels so creative and very experimental/out there with its concepts and ideas that having it tied to being in a fps game franchise that is constantly mocked for being the same game every year that casual gamers who pick up the latest sports game also happen to buy as well almost seems like an insult. again its hard to explain, but cod zombies almost feels like this is where some of the true creativity lies within the cod franchise as a whole. it feels so far removed from cod that it feels like it can be its own standalone game.

am i the only one who thinks this?
