JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – Spectators heading to A-State’s home football games can avoid gameday traffic by taking the bus.
Jonesboro Economical Transportation will once again offer bus rides to every home game.
A round trip costs just $2.50.
A-State students, veterans, and people with disabilities can pay a discounted rate of $1.20.
Children under six ride free.
Shelly Anderson, JET marketing and community outreach coordinator, said that by taking the trolley, people can avoid long walks, parking fees, and inclement weather.
“Come and ride the trolleys and avoid any unexpected hindrances that might keep you from enjoying getting to the game,” Anderson said.
There are two pickup and drop-off locations.
One is in Downtown Jonesboro at the corner of Cate and Church Streets.
The other is by The Yard on A-State’s Campus.
