I need some advice and support regarding an issue I am facing with PUBG (PC/Steam).
My account recently received a permanent ban for “usage of hacks/cheats.” The problem is I was playing the game exclusively through OnePlay Cloud Gaming, which is similar to GeForce NOW or Xbox Cloud Gaming. On these platforms, it is technically impossible to download, install, or run any third party cheat programs since everything is locked and controlled by the provider.
I’ve attached all the screenshots of the ban notice, my Steam ban record, the email I sent to them, and their replies.
After my ban, I also raised a support ticket with OnePlay (the cloud gaming service I was using). Here’s what has happened so far:
- They have temporarily shut down PUBG from their library and put it under maintenance, so no one can play PUBG on OnePlay until this issue is resolved.
- They asked me some basic questions like what I was doing at the time of the ban, my Steam ID, my friend code, and what I thought could be the possible reason.
- After collecting this info, they told me they have escalated the matter further to their developer team.
- I’ve been keeping them updated with every email reply I got from Krafton.
So basically, even OnePlay agrees that this ban looks unfair, and they are investigating it from their side.
At this point, I honestly don’t know what else I can do. I’ve seen a few posts where players said their false bans were later removed, so I just want to know if there is still any hope for my account to be unbanned?
Please go through these mails and help me understand my situation.
