I’ve been learning about game UI/UX lately and decided to practice on something familiar: Call of Duty: Warzone. I rebuilt the HUD from scratch and explored a few tweaks, like making equipment counts more visible, experimenting with health indicators, and rethinking how much info is “too much.”
It’s not about fixing the game (the devs know what they’re doing), but more about me learning how HUDs shape the player experience. Wrote up a short case study here if you’re curious 👉 https://medium.com/@akinadeniyid/rethinking-warzones-hud-through-a-beginner-s-eyes-17c65dd6151a
Would love to hear what you all think!
