Partner and I share time between our two homes, and he helped me set up an office in his Illinois house that’s come along beautifully.
Wanted some green in the walls to remind me of Virginia and its lush forests, so painting the walls and redoing the floors with new wood were the first step. The desk was a nice pickup from IKEA, as are the Skadis organizers along the edge (we’ve both gotten a little obsessed).
Monitor is an ASUS Pro art that used to be landscape, but finding the vertical monitor really nice to use lately. Might add a second now that I have a MacMini (rather than a MBAir that could only support one external monitor.)
Stained Ivar in the background has been an awesome addition, and an IKEA craft/bar cart for storing extra tech supplies as needed is just behind where I’m standing for the shot.
