World of Warcraft is going to be at Gamescom this year. This is most definitely not new information. What is new, however, is the full schedule of events Blizzard is going to be holding all through the event.
Naturally this all kicks off with the Opening Night Live presentation on August 19th, which promises a whole lot of Midnight expansion previews, as well as the hands-on demo of player housing on the show floor through the week. What’s added here is the panel that goes over Midnight’s quests, zones, and story on August 21st, followed by another panel that promises a “deeper dive” into the expansion’s features on August 23rd. There will also be special events, developer signings, and more at the community stage.
For those who are interested in the aforementioned panels, Blizzard promises VODs will be online shortly after each one concludes, and we’ll most definitely be sure to cover any and all bean drops those provide.
