With all nine of Visions of Eternity’s elite specs now fully revealed – and a few of them starting wild flamewars in the bowels of ye olde Reddit – Guild Wars 2 is now moving on to video-hyping the expansion’s next reveal phase: the elite spec beta itself.
The video doesn’t have a ton of new info as it’s mostly a collection of clips for each of the specs. You’ll see the Troubadour picking a harp and playing a flute, the Antiquary rocking out on a guitar, the Galeshot making archery happen again, the Paragon trying to take flight, the Evoker summing her super cute spirits (TOAD), and the Amalgam going full T-1000 (can’t unsee it now, can you?).
Of course, the purpose of the video is also to remind players that the elite spec beta runs August 20th to 27th, so you haven’t got long to wait. We don’t have complete details on the event yet, but if it’s like past events, everyone will be able to give the new specs a spin, even folks who haven’t preordered, and normally you just roll them right on your regular account, with a few limitations on cross-contamination. It’s usually super easy to access, in other words.
