RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – Starting next year, the Richmond Flying Squirrels begin their 2026 season in a new home: CarMax Park.
The Flying Squirrels’ will host 69 home games in the new stadium. It begins in April, 2026 and will run through mid September.
“Our incredibly loyal and passionate fan base has waited 15 years for this moment,” Lou DiBella, Flying Squirrels Managing Partner, said.

April 7-12, Altoona Curve
April 21-26, Somerset Patriots
May 5-10, Akron RubberDucks
May 19-24, Binghamton Rumble Ponies
June 2-7, Erie SeaWolves
June 9-14, Harrisburg Senators
June 23-28, Akron RubberDucks
July 17-19, Erie SeaWolves
July 21-26, Hartford Yard Goats
Aug. 4-9, Reading Fightin Phils
Aug. 25-30, Portland Sea Dogs
Sept. 8-13, Chesapeake Baysox
For now, the Flying Squirrels have 18 home games remaining in the 2025 season. All apart of the Diamond’s final season.
