Carenado has released a fresh selection of preview images for its upcoming Beechcraft Baron B55 in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, giving simmers a closer look at the twin-engine aircraft both inside and out. The new screenshots, shared on the developer’s Facebook page, highlight the aircraft in various environments and lighting conditions, along with detailed cockpit close-ups.
Described by Carenado as offering “twin-engine elegance” and “RealXperience realism,” the B55 will feature the studio’s proprietary sound and animation package, which has been implemented in recent releases. The cockpit imagery shows a mix of analog gauges and optional modern avionics, consistent with Carenado’s tradition of mixing a vintage character with modern in-cockpit usability.
The Beechcraft Baron B55 is a piston twin in the Bonanza family, known for its stable handling and popularity among pilots moving into multi-engine flying. Carenado’s rendition appears to continue the visual quality seen in recent aircraft such as the CT210N Turbo Centurion and Beechcraft Bonanza F33A.
While Carenado has yet to confirm a release date, the aircraft is expected to debut for MSFS 2024 via the in-sim Marketplace, in line with the developer’s standard distribution method. More details, including pricing and avionics options, should be available once the Marketplace listing goes live.
