I initially bought a used Asus Prime OC 5070 ti from a local retailer and I was thoroughly disappointed with its results. I'm not sure if there was something wrong with it, but the damn thing wouldn't even go over 0.9V for some reason, and the core clock could barely reach over 3100.

Also the board itself wasn't drawing enough power, even with the Strix bios it would barely boost to 310w at times in Steel Nomad, while in Cyberpunk it wouldn't go over 250. Another weird thing was that Furmark wouldn't get it to 100% utilization, it would hover around 93-94.

I tried to search if others suffered from the same issue and it appears it's not that uncommon, even saw people specifically with this model having similar problems, some more serious than mine, but the root cause wasn't clear.

Thankfully yesterday the same retailer got the same model back in stock for new at a lower price, like 80 euros or so, at which point I said hold up and ordered another piece.

And lo and behold, this one is the exact opposite. I haven't had the time to play with custom curves, but simply flashing the Strix bios, raising the power limit to the max 109, voltage to 100 and +464 on core landed me the second place on Steel Nomad for my config, 5070 ti plus a 7500f, with a score of 7731.

I'm sure with a bit more fiddling, maybe cranking the AC to max (room temp around 24-25 currently) and removing the rest of the PCI brackets from the back of my case for improved airflow would help me land first place, but I can't be bothered right now with that. The focus would be to get a good UV curve, something like 3150@950 or 3000@875-900 would be good enough for me for day to day usage.
