Four makeup games were scheduled on the final day of the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup 2025 presented by RAXUS to define the places from fifth to 12th place.
The Dominican Republic defeated Mexico in the only Super Round game, securing fifth place while in the Placement Round, Cuba outscored South Africa to finish with a perfect record, seventh overall.
Australia recorded their best ever finish in ninth place, despite losing on Sunday to Panama, who finished eighth, while Czechia won the European battle against Germany to finish 10th.

The Dominican Republic took a quick 3-0 lead against Bryan Bareño, setting the tone. Luis Parra and Erick Claudio doubled, and the Dominicans built a lead they wouldn’t surrender.
Behind 9-0, Mexico produced a late four-run rally against relievers Yohan Yan and Carlos Rodriguez.
The Dominican Republic had 10 hits. Centre fielder Albert Perez went 3-for-3. Yan helped himself with a home run.

Placement Round GamesCuba-South Africa 20-0
Cuba scored 15 runs in the bottom of the third, cruising to a win in four innings to end the Placement Round with a perfect 5-0 record.
Sean Garcia had three hits, including a home run, and two RBIs. Jose Padron allowed only one walk over four innings, while striking out seven.

Panama-Australia 13-3
Panama outscored Australia in five innings to finish the Placement Round with a 3-1 record.
Australia brought a 2-2 tie in the bottom of the fourth, when Panama’s lineup rallied with nine runs to break the score open.
Starter Preston Taylor left after allowing the first run on a bases-loaded grounder. Reliever Luku Masuda allowed two walks and two hits, and Panama added two more hits on Billy McCarthy, also capitalising on a defensive error.
Panama centre fielder Yessith Concepcion went 3-for-4, including a homer, with four RBIs. Four pitchers limited Australia to three hits.

Czechia-Germany 12-2
Czechia needed only five innings to defeat Germany and finish with a 2-3 record.
German starter William Crofton could get only one out, while allowing three runs.
The Czech lineup had seven hits. David Stepanik, Teodor Svoboda and Denis Rambousek combined for six at the top of the batting order. Rambousek also had three RBIs.
Jeronym Bartulik and Martin Tretera limited Germany to three hits.
