Hello! Zoomer PC (and also laptop, consoles etc.) repairer here.
Driver – an essencial program, which allows communication between CPU and the peripheral. In lamer terms, acts as a translator.
Nividia app – helps you to keep your graphics driver updated, configures the different AI stuff (not nessary to function), has the news and in-game rewards.
The driver can function without the app (just uncheck the box during driver installation). Also, the app is more a user-friendly way of configuring the GPU, you can do it via the driver.

Yeah, that’s…incorrect. If you’re feeling nice. Neither Nvidia Control Panel, nor the Nvidia App on my system have asked for age checks. They might have meant GeForce NOW and if we’re feeling generous, could put that down to not knowing the difference between the three.
