My biggest fear is the game getting shitty skins like this. Part of me thinks that a year after launch they will try pushing stupid cosmetics like this. I figure they can would love to get cash from new customers at the expense of those who like the game to be somewhat grounded.
I believe they tried it in 2042 but the fanbase basically told them to GTFO and they backtracked.

Each time battlefield tried to not be battlefield we ended up with a disaster. battlefield Hardline battlefield V and battlefield 2042 were completely garbage in anything that is not graphics.
Battlefield 4 and specially battlefield 1 were exactly how the game should be and feel. we all wanted battlefield 2042 to be battlefield 4 but with better graphics and better QoL and it turned out and unfinished mess hero shooter wannabe with no soul whatsoever.
