I dont mind i allways play on either 44 or 60 max with an rx 470 all low with moded drivers so i get more fps … The optimisation is very bad you see it from the start that the game is 55 gb

seeing posts like this makes me wonder wtf goes on with pc’s. you got a lot of people saying the game feels way smoother & then you have others like this who just suffer from major fps drops lol

After the updates I was experiencing some choppy gameplay even with 7800x3d + RTX 4070. I tried all the usual things like cleaning shader cache etc.
What seemed to make a difference was updating to newest Nvidia drivers. I ran Capframex before and after updating, with same graphic settings, and my 1% lows gained around 80 fps.

Disabling Steam’s overlay and Steam recording fixed it.
Wish i could enable/disable the overlay per game because i dont need it for cs2 but i need it for my singleplayer games to use steam input for my off brand controller

Sudden fps drop after game or two. After restarting the game it goes normal. The drop seems to be around 100-200, depending on map

Maybe an amd thing. I use a 6600XT and my fps is below 100 and gets fucked sporadically with it dropping to sub 60 often.

Can confirm. My FPS was a joke today, I have 160Hz refresh rate and locked to 159FPS via Adrenaline. Today I was dropping regularly into 100-110 territory on Ancient, and at one point my FPS continued to drop for no reason until it locked itself to 64FPS it seemed.
I have never seen that in my entire experience in the CS franchise.

I randomly had my fps drop to 144 during a game at first, then a few rounds later it droped to around 70 while i had nothing else running. I rebooted the game and it was 300+ again, you tell me man i have no idea

Not just fps, game randomly freeze beginning of the round… Game micro freeze during gun fights where utility explodes… Server command queues are so fucked that sometimes you get dink sound before you see the enemy peeking… This makes the game feel like it comes with one sec delay. Then at least I get this bug due to commands being queued in wrong order if I inspect gun and switch guns it will randomly inspect the guns even when I am not holding the button… This will also make me die behind walls constantly because the server fucks up the buttons each client press… Sub tick is a full on joke.
Game feels just full random mess I literally start to think whole game was made by 5 people top of HL:Alyx build lmao. This is like Warzone 1, buggy af due to fact it was made on engine not made for the game from ground zero.
Even the game takes a full minute to launch from SSD. Before it was couple seconds.

Yesterday I was playing, and my FPS Bricked in a comp to a HARD 50. I called a timeout, left game, rejoined, and I was back up to 200 for the rest of the game.

I have the same issue. Fpt dropped from 200 to 60 last game lol
I lost almost 200 FPS on average and frame drops are much worse now. Some rounds literally feel like slow motion.
Measured it with CapFrameX and my .2% lows dropped by 1/3rd.
