Hi, I’m a complete noob and have been just letting the cpu turbo boost for years but now I need a lil more FPS so attempted overlocking if its even possible with this set up? I have increased voltage and set multiplier to 46 but it still just turbo boosts to 4.29Ghz and sits at base clock of 3.7Ghz with turbo boost off. Am I doing something wrong? I’m planning on upgrading anyways if it’s too much headache. I’ve included the bios setting – only have option of XMP and auto.

you’d need a Z board to overclock, i think you can attempt doing BCLK on that board but i wouldn’t recommend it because it’s little gains for very high risks
