I don’t blame her. I most especially don’t blame myself if I sell her to Rosalind.

And that’s why shes so well written. She did everything she could and threw everyone under the bus while she was at it why? She wanted to live and survive, just like V. She was desperate and she made shitty decisions because of it, that is good writing

Wholeheartedly agree. If treachery were a programming language, she’d be fluent, certified, and charging by the hour. If it were an Olympic sport, she’d hack the scoreboard and take gold before stabbing her own team in the back — twice, just to be sure.

Still better than betraying her I have nightmares about that thing in cynosure

You either help an egocentric fascist restore America to the good old days or you help someone who was their pawn for many years escape their grasp.

  8. I haven’t finished PL yet (first play through ever) but I keep seeing pictures of her with wildly different opinions.

    Excited to see why

The moment she showed up in that dress, my fate was sealed.

I will never side with her on any playthough. Had enough of a male Judas Deshawn now comes another female Judas…..

I wonder if she feels bad if you >!Send her to the moon for the cure!<. I wonder if she feels any remorse since V genuinely trusted her and helped her but she lied to them.

  12. The performance at the Black Sapphire is about Song.

And in the end, she escapes.

    That’s the ending right there.

I like So Mi, and can’t fault her for what she did. She had been living a life of essential slavery, manipulated into joining in the first place, forced to commit atrocities, to betray friends, having her humanity literally stolen from her over time (as visualised by her chrome).

She was literally dying as a result of all that and all she wanted was to live and be free, a perfect mirror to V (even more so for my Corpo V, who themselves was practically a slave for Arasaka before gaining their own freedom), she was desperate willing to do whatever she could to survive, and to V she only ever really lied by omission. When she has been spending practically her whole life surrounded by lies and manipulations, where you cannot truly trust anyone not even your supposed friends, it’s perfectly reasonable she wouldnt be completely honest and trusting of a random merc.

All things considered I feel she was more sincere to V than she was insincere, she clearly regrets it and that’s why she tells us the truth at the end, and as my V said it doesn’t matter, “I would have helped anyway”.
