We’re gonna see the same thing go the other way once more PlayStation games come to Xbox. I already got Helldivers 2 on pre-order and I’ll happily take more
and this is why nadella pulled the trigger on multiplat after the gamepass experiment didn’t work how they thought it would and starfield dramatically underperformed.
You can come up with all these fancy metrics and buzzwords for investors but at the end of the day you still need to make money.
Most of those multiplatform IP’s were already popular on playstation before Microsoft bought them.
Playstation players were never going to boycott them just because Xbox bought them lol and Indy obviously already has an established fanbase because of the movies so the only notable game in that list is Forza.
Turning out to be a good year for Microsoft games on third party consoles/PC but not a big surprise. I am sure when PS games come to Xbox, they will also dominate the Xbox charts for some time.
As a gamepass enjoyer, this has been a great year for me.

Reasonably cause if you have a PlayStation and wanted to play an Xbox game now you’re gonna def get it— almost the same situation when we got kingdom hearts and other ps titles
Well yeah that’s kinda what happens when you buy up lots of big studios and create artificial scarcity by having exclusivity and then breaking it

Turns out, Microsoft games don’t suck after all…
Well when there is an actual large install base, games will sell.
MS bought better studios, and now they are gonna let many of these go and PS will have a chance to dominate the leaderboards.
Alrighty, time to close some more studios

I suspect it’s because PlayStation have had a drought of releasing games. They, for whatever reason, have become obsessed with Concord, aswell and the rumoured second attempt at a Concord like they’re working on (I forget the name)
