I deleted my account already. They fucked over so many devs.
I imagine this will make it a lot more difficult for certain people to buy games from Itch.io, but this should hopefully be enough to scare the current payment processors into reversing their decision, if that’s possible that is.
Good. Other payment processors could get a reputation for supporting free speech and make VISA and Mastercard look bad.
I’m curious how it will turn out hopefully it ends up working out . But I wonder If they manage to find other payment processors. Will Mc/visa and such retaliate by not offering services to itch io? Or will the same groups that pressured visa and mc. Put pressure on the new ones to do the same?
They must have lost way more money than they were expecting, and it does not surprise me they did. Shouldn’t take NSFW games and how much horny sells for granted.

Good. Somebody can seize a good sized market share that wouldn’t have otherwise been available.
Offer digital currency/credits. That way gamers can buy credits via visas but they have no say or know what the gamer will purchase with the digital currency.
Why would Visa think they wouldn’t try different avenues?

i dont mind payment processors blocking r*pe and inc*st games or any form of SA. We dont need those types of games anyways.
