It’s probably a cover identity crafed for her before being inserted into Dogtown. The donor is either some nobody in the NUSA or an amalgamation of a few people, depending on how public the persona is supposed to be. It could also be that she is merely mimicking and the personality is go old fashion acting.

If the former owner of the bar was this girl and alex didn’t start the bar herself.

Then yeah Alex probably Shot her in the back in the head

And assumed her identity after gathering enough intelligence about her to assume her identity.

I am not quite sure if Alex shot her or a profile builder did.

But it seems likely that whoever this used to be is probably dead.

Crafting an entirely new identity and infiltrating Dog town whould have been very very hard.

Killing somone who’s already a member of the community is easier

And fits with the FIA’s MO.

Taking over the role of a bartender is perfect cover for a sleeper agent.

And allows them to gather intel about the area in whitch they’re operating. Trough the conversations that patrons at the bar are having.

Remember alex was a deep undercover sleeper agent operating within an exstermly dangrous PMC controled area for an extended period of time.

Assuming the role of a freindly neighborhood bartender who’s on good terms with the locals and BARGHEST.

who owns a building that can be used a safe house.

    Is a good cover.

I mean in a side gig V can assume the persona of Aguilar. And she wasn’t dead.

Why the assumption it only copies real bodies, though?

whoever she is, I wanna bang her. this version is way hotter than normal Alex

Probably someone that Alex left in a dumpster

Does it have to be another person? I see no reason why one couldn’t design a custom identity of someone who doesn’t technically exist, especially if your goal is just blend in. In theory, one could assume V is doing similar if they use their faceplate to shed a bounty in-game. Alex could have used a custom identity, maybe even one from a pre-provided setting from NUSA. If it IS true you have to use a specific person, I would imagine its more like she would have used someone she knew or someone who’s data she had from long ago, rather than risk the possibility of drawing attention to herself via an unnecessary assassination.

I don’t know where you are getting not being able to have a synthesized behavioral imprint from

Using a real person runs the risk, however small, of running into somebody from their past.

Creating a fake identity gets rid of that risk.  The FIA isn’t exactly hard up for cover stories, and Night City has people moving in all the time.

  10. Probably some random person that was present when Alex got the tech installed. We don’t know when she got it, only that she HAS it when V meets her. It’s entirely possible she deployed to Dogtown with it already installed. It’s entirely possible she’d had it for some time before arriving. It could be literally anyone she saw since day one of having the tech.

Probably a made up identity – I’m sure you could program a face into the machine “by hand,” as it were, given time and skill that V doesn’t have.
