As part of the Corruption Update added to Grow a Garden on July 26, 2025, the Corrupt Channeller arrived and requests that you deliver specific plants with specific mutations and sizes.
This page details how the Corrupt Channeller works, the rewards available, and some tips to help you complete his requests.
Corrupt Channeller
As you approach the Corrupt Channeller in the center of the island, you’ll see which fruit is currently required, as well as the mutation and size that the Channeller is requesting.
You can then go back to your garden and check to see if you have a plant that fits those parameters, and then hold it in your hand and give it to the Corrupt Channeller to help increase the Corruption Level and building up the size of the tree.
Unlike the Zen Tree, the Corrupt Tree will reset every hour and will randomly apply Corrupt mutations to plants in your garden based on the Corruption Level you’ve built it up to.
Helpful Tip – Favoriting Plants
Use the table below to check your crops. As soon as you have one that meets any of the requirements, even if it’s for one of the later quests, favorite it. On PC, you do this by clicking the right mouse button. When a plant is favorited, a red heart will show on it.
Favoriting will allow you to sell your stuff and maintain enough backpack space, without losing the crops needed to complete requests. Just be sure to unfavorite the plant before you give it to the Corrupt Channeler.
Quest Tips For crops that have a higher weight requirement, make use of Gear. Basic Sprinklers cost 25,000 and will increase fruit size. Godly Sprinklers (120,000 Sheckles) and Master Sprinkler (10,000,000 Sheckles) also increase fruit size, as well as mutation chances, but are far rarer and more expensive. You’ll need to use Mutation Spray Tranquil, the Tanchozuru pet and the Tranquil Pet Shard to help you gain Tranquil mutation on your crops.Corrupt Channeller Rewards
