Games have reached such a hardware requirement that I haven't been able to play any newly released game for 5 years. I have a Dell Precision 7730 laptop, which is almost 7 years old, with an NVIDIA Quadro P4200 graphics card (8GB DDR5) and I simply don't play any FPS games released after 2020 on it. It always tells me: "The graphics card does not meet the minimum requirements to run the game". The laptop cost 1990 USD 7 years ago and is useless. So every 2 years, you have to buy a new laptop for 2000 USD? Is that the goal of game development and its hardware requirements? Hm?
