I played it twice but 10 years apart and actually paid attention the second time. So definitely a twice in a lifetime experience for me.

First game’s gameplay is hot ass. I heard it was completely revamped in the re-release so I guess I’ll try it out. 2 & 3 are great though

I have 120+ hours in the Legendary Edition and I can just say there is no trilogy like this one, probably never will be one like it

I still remember the goosebumps when I saw the first reaper ship vanish into the clouds and the space mystery began. My favorite games (at least ME3 gave us the multiplayer, which I loved)

  5. Bioware went on a generational run and then completely forgot how to make video games

Didn’t ME3’s original ending was so shite that they had to make a DLC just to retcon it?

  7. That generation of consoles was a one in lifetime experience entire franchises created and ended on one platform.

I had a 360 and ps3 so many exclusives new games and fresh ideas i miss those days now online is trash and consoles are paperweights for the most part.

dragon age 1-3 mass effect 1-3 in 7 years just was amazing

The first Mass Effect I played was Mass Effect 2. When it finally was on PS3, I happened to see it on sale at a Walmart for $20. That was the biggest steal of any game ever.

I spent hours exhausting every possible planet and building all the relationships I could. One of the best gaming experiences ever. I also LOVED ME3, even that ending that the majority disliked.

Thank god they didnt include fucking Kai Leng in the poster

  10. That artwork’s amazing… wait a sec, there’s a red / green / blue hue to each.

    HOLY SHIT LMAO

  11. I can only speak to the first game. I have the LE versions, and I cant play 2. Voice audio is non existent, and all other audio is max. It just doesn’t work and I gave up.

my gaming hot take will always be that these games are boring and mid af

Except when you play 1, start 2 and then lose it in storage in another state for 8 years. Then recover it. Restart Y? N?

When will publishers learn that it’s the people who sell a game; not the name it’s attached to. Bioware isn’t the seal of quality it used to be; nor EA.

  15. These games are one of if not the greatest trilogy in gaming while also having one of the most unsatisfying conclusions of any game franchise I have ever played.

  16. I need to play this remastered trilogy, because I’ve played only the ME3 when it came out

The Witcher and The Banner Saga both did a connected story with choices that matter over 3 games. Banner Saga was within a console generation too.
