Switch 1 selling more than xbox is absolutely hilarious
At this point Switch is the only console I will even consider getting since it offers true exclusives and portability. 99% of everything else I want to play is on PC.
Keep in mind that, for what i understand, Nintendo dosent share the sales from their website. At least with Circana (wich is where they got the US sales numbers) meaning the number is probably even higher than that.
Switch 2 is a fantastic device. I can see why Nintendo waited so long to release it so they will have millions ready for launch.

I really don’t get the hype for the switch 2, it’s just the same console as the first one with better technology. It’s not like other handhelds aren’t the same. People buying the console early with only two new available games while the rest are just plug ins, it’s only going to collect dust while people wait for new games.
I wonder how many of those Switch sales were people and grandma that believed they were purchasing a Switch 2?
Does this mean Gamepass will eventually appear on PS5 and Switch?

I see these numbers and know Sony is gonna have to “sell” more ps2’s than Microsoft sells current Xbox’s to keep the Ps2 as the number sold console.

Nintendo is doing so much anticonsumer stuff from patented game mechanics, lawsuits after emulation, going after palword, the whole “you dont own your switch” and bricking shit as well as more yet they will continue to push the limits since people dont care. Everyone laughing at xbox sales but aren’t even including the fact they have the option to play their Game pass on PC and heavily market the ability to choose what device you can use to play its library of game pass games. You need a 200+ dollar device to be able to do that with Play station unless it’s changed in the past 2 years where you can play Playstation game pass on a casting device without the console or portal controller thing.

“Xbox doesn’t need hardware they’re all in on gamepass” their fans still say despite the fact that the VAST majority of their gamepass numbers come from the console. So how are they going to get more when no one buys xbox?
In average about 2,2% of all people are considered “idiots” as they have an IQ under 70. If you add up all sales mentioned in the title, Xbox represents 2,4% of the sales.

Every day I’m more convinced that Xbox will eventually just become a subscription service (through xbox gamepass) that’ll let you play games on your preferred console, and/or stream your games.
Hardware is getting harder to sell people IMO, and it’s just getting more expensive. It’s easier to tell a parent to buy their kid a subscription to a game streaming service than buying a new console, especially since more and more people are getting access to good enough internet.

I might be in the minority here but I prefer my Xbox Series X to my PS5. I like that it’s quieter than the PS5 and I like the ergonomics of the controller a lot more. There PS5 controller is more advanced but makes my hands cramp after a few minutes. I also love Halo.
I think they’re only doing bad due to lack of enticing exclusives and the bad sentiment from the horrible Xbox one launch. I feel the Xbox platform is great and in some ways better than PS5, but I do understand why some would prefer PS5 for its better game lineup. Even then, lots of those games are on PC.

I believe the Series S is still your cheapest entry point to this generation which appears to be full steam ahead now and with GTA 6 coming out next year now is the time to jump in.
That said if you’re still in denial about where Xbox is headed then that’s on you.
