Paraphrasing Scott the Woz: “Nintendo, if you don’t want people doing this then sell your damn games on your current system!”

I still can’t believe that we were able to play Tears of the Kingdom on PC a few weeks before it even came out on the switch.

Apparently someone got their hands on a physical copy very early and leaked the whole game online. That had to have been one of the most high profile game leaks of all time.

Look, Nintendo, I understand you have IPs to protect. You need to understand that so long as the internet exists yours and every other developers stuff will be emulated. You should be flattered your classics are often most downloaded. I hear you though, some of these websites could be a little more low key.

Nintendo really are turning into the asshole company of gaming industry.

Saying that, I will eventually buy a Switch 2, but I am literally only interested in Animal Crossing.

Telling people what they can’t do is only gonna make them want to do it more.

If a company discontinued sales of a game, I really don’t see why they have any business getting pissy about people emulating or pirating that game.

It’s not like they’re monetizing it anymore, so they’re not suffering any loss of sales or income from it.

  7. every once in awhile i come back to NES pirates rom or jaws

  8. Nintendo put your $60 and $80 games on steam and see how much money you’ll make.

You’re a business, WHY YOU REFUSING PROFIT AND MONEY?!

they’re losing this battle so hard it’s hilarious. what did they expect when they refuse to bring their older games to their current platforms and only lock a tiny bit of their retro library behind a paid subscription service?

Imagine owning a rig with a 5090.. To play old Nintendo games.. 😂

  11. No reason not to when Nintendo makes no effort to preserve their older games for easy access.
