But I think flying cars would really only work if they were fully self driving. No way the government is going to give the average citizen the power to 9/11 shit.

There used to be a hot wheels macaroni and cheese when I was a kid so I know we are at least capable of creating car shaped instant noodles. By that logic, flying cars should be right around the corner.
