Just wanted to share a happy update!

I am from Bangalore, India. A few weeks ago, got my RTX 4090 bricked with small burn on the connector post driver update.

Today, after two weeks of back and forth, ASUS finally resolved my warranty case, and to my surprise, they’ve offered me a free upgrade to the RTX 5090 as a replacement for my faulty RTX 4090.

Big shoutout to the ASUS Support team and Rajeev from the service division for eventually getting this sorted. Thanks to everyone here who offered advice and support during the process.

Holy! I’m sooo jealous. I’m currently rocking an RX 6800 from XFX.

Hopefully you don’t have to RMA it again

Hey, man. Remember me? You promised that if you’d ever get a free GPU upgrade like that, you’d give it to me. I’m willing to give you my 4080 Super as a return gift. 😉

Show this to the guy who was offered 300$ and a 5080 for his bricked 4090 lmao

You’ve posted this in 3 different reddit forums now. Attention seeker.

  8. RMAd my RTX 4070ti in Brazil few months ago, Zotac offered a 5070 replacement, thankfully in Brazil you can just pick if you’d like a replacement or reimbursement. I asked kindly for my money back and got a 5070ti and kept the change 😉

Careful, it sounds like you had a cable malfunction with your prior card. The 5090 draws more juice than the 4090 so if the cable you’re plugging into it is faulty you may want to replace it.

ASUS…? ASUS did this? My man you should buy a lottery ticket lmfao. Gz tho!

This happened to me with one of their monitors, the PG32UQ. Within a year or year and a half of buying it, I had dead pixels and ugly yellow splotches on the screen. Took me about a month to go back and forth with them, but they upgraded me to the OLED PG42UQ. Happy for you, OP!

Wow random W from Asus. They might have followed the wrong protocol, they’re supposed to hold your card for ransom then once you pay send it back worse than before.
