You’re in lockdown and all you have is CODM. You had to wait a few more weeks for this season to land. Delay after delay. The content drought hits hard meanwhile the devs rewards you a knife camo for your patience. That’ll do! You’re waiting for that AK 117 Meltdown to drop, have your cod points at the ready. Draws were rare and far apart. First reactive gun in a mobile game. But first… the Chain Reaction! Let the toxicity roll!

Call of Duty Mobile from 2020 was something else. People are always saying: “Red persistence, guns behind paywalls…” and they keep forgetting that it only took a few seasons to receive them all for free. And this perk became a real headache like… in S9/S10 2021 ?!
Not to mention that we had a more detailed and high quality designed content. C’mon, look at some skins like Royal Crimson ? Steel Blue ? Geometry ? And tons of other skins from battle passes and draws…Things were a lot more worth spending money on than nowadays.
And the gameplay ? Chef’s kiss. The battle royale had fair and fun mechanics that allowed each and every single player to play like they wanted to. So much different from the actual CODM, where you gotta be a jobless maniac tryhard playing 24/7 or a idiot who sells both your kidneys to buy a mythic skin to give you a boost or an advantage on others.
2020 CODM wasn’t a game. It was a lifetime thing. Those who lived it, LIVED IT.
When codm was trying to do something unique and not copy others.
Every season had a unique theme, the updates added 2 weapons and maps one during launch and next during mid season update so you had stuff to do the whole month.
Now you just wait for season to end or buy a draw to entertain yourself.
And dont get me started on the comics. I dont know what substances they do but I want some.
But I am also thankful to the free cosmetics but I hope we get to see some militaristic theme soon or sci fi like infinite/ advance warfare stuff too.
